Let's connect!

We undeniably believe therapy is cool and we also know it can be hard to find the right fit. We want to make sure your needs are heard so the more information you provide the easier it is for us to navigate the best provider. We truly know and respect the need for mental health services. We never want to disservice anyone by taking someone on we cannot give 100% to, with that in mind here are the specific services we have openings for currently:

  • Parenting Support

  • Perinatal Mental Health

  • Adult Individual Therapy

  • EMDR (ages 18+)

Therapy is Cool is not a crisis facility. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please dial 9-8-8, or call 9-1-1, or reach out to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline for 24/7 crisis support: 1-800-273-8255, or text MN to 741741.

Navigating insurance:

We know insurance can feel confusing! While we do contract with several insurance companies, your insurance plan is your benefit and it’s your responsibility to know what is and isn’t covered.

Every plan is different, so we encourage you to call your insurance provider before your first session to ask about coverage, copays/coinsurance, deductibles, and out-of-network benefits. This helps you know exactly what to expect and avoid any surprises. This is not something you have to do.

Here are some words you can use if you are feeling stuck on what to say that can help guide the conversation with your insurance company:

“Hi, I’m calling to check my coverage for mental health therapy and to see if Therapy Is Cool is in network. The NPI number is 170154266, and the CPT codes are 90791 (assessment) and 90837 (therapy session). Can you tell me if those services are covered, and what my deductible, copay, or coinsurance amount would be?”
